… worked as a Web Designer and Publisher for the Online Creative team at The Home Depot in Atlanta, Ga., developing designs for strategic web pages within the homedepot.com ecosystem.

From January 2011 to June of 2012 I…

…was the Online Producer for the Office of Communications and Marketing at Emory University, where I produced content for the Emory News Center and was the lead designer and producer for the Emory-wide Emory Repot email newsletter, as well as lead designer for the Techniques blog and Spirited Thinking blog (both built in WordPress).

From 2006 to 2011…

I was the Online Producer for Creative Loafing Media‘s family of web sites, including portals for Atlanta, Charlotte, Tampa and Sarasota, but after the company’s Chapter 11 reorganization, I worked as the Web Content Manager for CLATL.com (leading two full site redesigns and CMS upgrades).

In 2011 I completed the Master of Arts in Media Studies online program with the New School in New York City.

And from 2002 to 2009…

In 2005, I graduated from Georgia State University with a double-major in Print Journalism and Spanish Literature.
