Noted: In October 2013, Forbes announced the Home Depot had won the “digital gifting challenge,” an evaluation period for online sales of retail gift cards. The announcement was made a year after an initial redesign project for the page where, after evaluating user feedback from focus groups and heat maps, I was the lead designer within the team that implemented a new design strategy for the page.
Home Depot overall rated the highest, with 54 points, followed by Sephora and Starbucks, each with 48 points, and Dunkin’ Donuts and The Cheesecake Factory close behind at 47 and 46 points respectively.
